Can Mozilla screw up Firefox more?

It’s a commonly-held UI principle that if you want to determine the version number of an app, you could go the Help menu, and then click on “About”. This is useful information for techs that may be trying to troubleshoot a problem, and it is easy to guide a person to it over the phone.

So why is Firefox taking that away?

Simple – they’re trying to deflect criticism on the constant version number changes. Firefox has become a browser that has gone from being a work in progress to being a constant beta – and there is a difference.

Just another reason to not advocate for this app to be adopted in our company. As if the third-party addons weren’t enough already…
